Homework

Spellings:

This weeks spellings have been put up online. Our test will be Friday 30th November.

Mathematics:

All children will be going home with maths homework this week. It is continuing on from our work on 2D and 3D shapes.

History:

Due to an error the history homework is under Mrs Pascoe's learner page homework link. Your task is to research one of the Tudor monarchs and create a fact file about them in your learning log.

Good luck

The Firemaker's Daughter

We are going to be beginning to read The Firemaker's Daughter next week.

Your task is to design your own front cover for the book using purple mash.

You will need to open purple mash, click the 'creative tools' button and then choose '2 publish', you should then choose the option that is already highlighted.

You will need to write the title at the bottom in a firey colour and then create your picture. You must include lots of colour, the best ones will be going on our display.

Think carefully about what you think the book will be about and create your frontt cover to show what you think.

Good luck

Welcome Back

Welcome back to school Year 3, I hope you have enjoyed your week off.
Just a few reminders:

P.E. will be every tuesday afternoon, so please make sure you have your P.E. kit in school.

Spellings will be going home from Friday 9th November every week with a test the following Friday. I will be putting these spellings onto the homework page.

Both Maths and English homework will also be going home every Friday and will be expected to be back by Tuesday at the latest the next week. I will also be putting any internet based homework onto the homework page.

Reading books need to be brought into school every day if possible.

I look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday 6th November

Mr Haines
