Half Term

I hope you have all had a good start to the half term and that the weather hasn't affected you.

Just a reminder that the homework is to find a book that you love and prepare a short presentation on it. You should have rehearsed your presentation and be confident in explaining details such as the author, book title, your favourite part and character and most importantly, your reasons why.

I look forward to seeing all of your hard work. It is not essential, but you could create resources such as handouts or a PowerPoint to aid your presentation, but it is important that you do not read your work. This is a speaking, not reading task.

We can do it!

This week in mathematics we will be doubling numbers up to 20. Can you practice doubling numbers up to 10? Anyone who brings in something they have made to remember doubles will get a sticker.

On Monday afternoon we have our last rugby session. Remember to bring in trainers if you don't have them in school already.

Anyone who brought in reading books on Thursday will have the new ones given out tomorrow. Remember to bring yours in on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

If you haven't brought in your English homework from last week please make sure you bring it in on Monday so that I can mark it and give out your next homework.
