Africa Presentation Homework

For Homework, we would like the children to create an item to be presented to the class on our next topic of Africa. This could be a:

· PowerPoint

· Poster

· Leaflet

· Booklet

· Story

· Model

· Or anything else that you can imagine.

The item should be high quality and reflect the high standards we expect in school. Try and aim for the quality of something that you would buy in a shop. Think carefully about how to grab people's attention and how to present in an imaginative way,

.

We would love to hear that the children have practised presenting to you as this rehearsal time is important for them. The children will be self assessing their oracy skills using a recording of the presentation and so the more practice they get, the better they will be.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing the presentations.

Homework

Your homework this weekend is to create a piece of writing about your mother or someone important to you, such as your nan.

Click on Purple Mash, themes and Mothers Day.

If you cannot access the Internet, you can do this on paper but I do expect high quality decoration and writing.

Include things like your favourite memories, experiences and what makes them special. I expect at least 7 sentences.
