Half term

I hope you all have a wonderful half term.

You homework for this half term is to create a resource that helps you learn the 2 or 5 times table. This could be a quiz, poster, game or anything else you like.

You may wish to use Purple Mash or make it yourself, it's totally up to you.

Giant collages

Don't forget that tomorrow we are making a collage of giants so you can bring in any materials you would like to use

Eisteddfod spellings

The Eisteddfod spelling test will be on Thursday so make sure you are prepared! Practise in all the says you have been taught in class

TASC Projects

3T presented their TASC projects on the counties of Wales to 6P today. A great opportunity for peer assessment

Board games, PowerPoints, Minecraft and lots of mess. It must be our TASC project on the counties of Wales

What's in the Giant's pocket

Mia and her mum created an incredibly creative way of showing what's in the giant's pocket. A lovely way to reuse materials from home. We will be using it in our poetry writing next week

Coffee morning

There will be no coffee morning sorry everyone. We will start them back up after half term.

Homework

Your homework this week is to make a collage ready for some poetry next week.

The poem is called What's in a giant's pocket? Use your imagination and find lots of pictures of items that you may find.

You could use Purple Mash, cut out of magazines or use a word processor at home. It is completely up to you.

This is due in by Friday preferably but Monday at the latest

Coffee morning

Thank you again to the helpers this morning, you got so much done! It's much appreciated and lovely to see how you're enjoying the morning.

However, there were far too many biscuits and cakes left over, the staff just had to eat them!

English Advert Homework

Your English homework this week is to write an advert for an old toy. What are the benefits of it and why should people buy it? Use the prompts on the side to help you.

 

The adverts should be written on Purple Mash using the Mbay template. You will find the template under Themes -> Persuasive Writing -> MBay.

 

I wonder who's advert will really persuade me to buy the toy!
